Beirut Chamber Co-Hosts Online Meeting to Explore Trade Opportunities with Australia

 

The Beirut Chamber, in partnership with the Lebanese Consulate in Melbourne and AACCI, co-hosted an online meeting to boost trade, bringing together key public and private sector figures from both countries.

Speakers included Mr. Naim Melhem (AACCI Victoria Chair), Mr. Rami Hamidi (Lebanese Consul General), and Mr. Rabih Sabra (Director General, Beirut Chamber), who delivered a presentation on current trade relations, key sectors, export potential, and needed bilateral agreements.

 

The session explored business opportunities and future cooperation.

Participants introduced their businesses and shared ideas for expanding cooperation. The event concluded with concrete recommendations to strengthen Lebanon–Australia trade relations. The Beirut Chamber remains committed to supporting Lebanese exporters and fostering international business ties.
